[CT Birds] Great Hawkwatching Day At Quaker Ridge

  Today Mike Warner and other observers counted 127 raptors at Quaker Ridge in Greenwich including 1 Black Vulture, 7 Turkey Vultures, 20 Osprey, 1 Bald Eagle, 8 Harriers, 13 Sharp-Shins, 10 Cooper's, 18 Broad-Wings, 41 Kestrels and 8 unidentified.  Also seen on the Audubon Center property today were 3 Barn Swallows, Pine and Palm Warblers, Louisiana Waterthrush, and 3 Savannah Sparrows.  Hopefully tommorrow will bring more birds.
