[CT Birds] 4/14 Barn Island, Stonington; Haley Farm Sp, Groton

4/14 - highlights of birds seen this morning at Barn Island:

       on access road:   1 brown thrasher, 1 catbird, 1 kestrel

       at Barn Island:  2 eastern towhees, 1 catbird, 1 Cooper's hawk,
             12 great egrets, 5 snowy egrets, 2 great blue herons, 4 greater  
                           
             yellowlegs, 2 osprey,15 red-breasted mergansers

       at Haley Farm SP - flock of cedar waxwings (no BOWA), 
              1 towhee, 1 red-tailed hawk, 3 osprey circling, later 1 doing
               quite a swooping display
(was hoping to see palm or pine warbers but did not see or hear either 
species at either location)
