[CT Birds] Recent Sightings, 4/15

4/15  Farmington, Farmington Meadows (Meadow Road)  -    13 RUSTY BACKBIRD, 4 imm. WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW, 1 singing FIELD SPARROW, 2 WILSON'S SNIPE, 2 AMERICAN KESTREL. 

4/15 Simsbury, Simsbury Commons Mall  -    1 COMMON RAVEN  (Seen daily at 6:15 am returning to Secret Lake nest site from mall)

4/13 Canton, Canton Yard  -   4 YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER (3 male, 1 female in one tree, displaying in flight and going crazy all over my yard)  Also, 2 waves of GOLDEN-CROWNED KINGLETS in my backyard trees (1 flock of 9 birds and another with 5 birds) 

4/12 Farmington, Batterson Pond  -   9  LESSER SCAUP
