I see there was another C Redpoll seen today from Todd in Stratford. So there are still at least 2 left in CT. So how long will they stay?
And: Just found out from Paul Desjardines that his last late sighting for his Redpoll back in the 50's was in fact April 11th. So it seems the two seen today might just be a late record for CT so far - and maybe this date will be lengthened even more - I will be looking for her tomorrow !

Also: Today I had a great day for woodpeckers here in the yard in Harwinton -

Saw my first Northern Flicker, the Downy, Hairy and Red-belly were at the suet, Sapsuckers were tapping, and also saw the resident Pileated. So cept for the Red-headed, I seem to have seen all the expected woodpeckers you can see in CT all in my own yard in just one day! ......yes? So has anyone out there actually seen all the woodpeckers possible in CT in one day?
