[CT Birds] Earth Day Bird Walk

The town of Bloomfield will be celebrating Earth Day on April 19 (this
Saturday.) Sam Fried will be leading an early morning bird walk at 8 AM at
Penwood SP. Meet in the parking lot. Penwood is on Rte 185 on the
Bloomfield/Simsbury line. Rt 185 runs between Rts 10 and 218. 

There will be more events later, between 11 and 3, for kids and adults at
the Alvin Wood Center on Park Ave.

Had my first female rose-breasted grosbeak at the feeder two days ago. Hope
to see the male soon!
