[CT Birds] Sandy Pt

During Piping Plover monitoring at Sandy Pt. in West haven a Peregrin Falcoln flew in.  Other birds:  Eastern Willet flew through, 5 Oyster Catchers flying around, 2-3 hundred brant, Red-breasted Mergansers, 2 Gr. Yellowlegs, Green-wing Teal, Sanderlings? flying through, and an Osprey.  The 10 Piping Plovers reported last week still persist. 

  The Branford River is behind my home and today, to my surprise, were 8 Glossy Ibis.
