[CT Birds] 4/21 Black Vulture & Bald Eagle, Granby

Monday, 4/21 -- While visiting McLean Game Refuge to find birds for the
Hartford Audubon Society spring census, I saw an adult Bald Eagle and a
Black Vulture soaring together high overhead.  This is the second year in a
row I've seen a Black Vulture in Granby.  They are now a routine sight just
a few miles north, in Granville, Mass.  My fellow hawkwatchers and I have
long suspected the existence of a roost on Mt Shatterack/Tekoa in Russell,
Mass.
