Dear CT Birders:
I have received some updated information regarding the dates of the training sessions for Project Limulus, the horseshoe crab tracking project being organized by Sacred Heart University. Please forward to anyone who might be interested.

Additionally, they asked if I could post the link to their participation survey. They are trying to organize the wonderful responses already received and keep track of everyone who is interested in participating. The survey is quick and easy. All information will be held in confidence. Supplying contact information in the survey is important so they can reply to all those who volunteer. It is also important that for people who would like to participate in the spawning surveys pick dates in the list on the survey. http://FreeOnlineSurveys.com/rendersurvey.asp?sid=5jp6ykpbmnkpoy9425967<http://freeonlinesurveys.com/rendersurvey.asp?sid=5jp6ykpbmnkpoy9425967>

PS Added another bird to the yard list last week when a Northern Harrier flew over. I think this makes 124 or 125 species, not bad for an inland, urban lot in a sea of half acre habitat blocks. Also, just had 3 Red-shouldered Hawks fly over at the Bent of the River in Southbury, which was a nice treat.
