[CT Birds] New Haven Bird Club Banquet

Folks,

This is a reminder that there are only 8 birding days remaining  
before April 30, the registration deadline for the NHBC banquet on  
Thursday, May 8.  No tickets will be sold at the door, so  
procrastinators are advised to get their reservations in the mail  
ASAP.  The reservation form, which contains all the information you  
need to know, can be downloaded at www.newhavenbirdclub.org.  For  
anyone who might not have seen the announcement, here are the details:

Thursday, May 8, 2008.  New Haven Bird Club Annual Banquet, Open to  
the Public.  Guest Speaker, Bill Burt-Marshes: The Disappearing  
Edens.  Amarante's Restaurant, 62 Cove St, New Haven.  Social hour at  
6 PM, dinner at 7 PM.  Reservation with choice of entree required by  
April 30, $29.50 per person, cash bar.   For more information and

Guest speaker William Burt, a naturalist, photographer, and writer  
with a passion for wild places and elusive birds, will discuss the  
creation of his most recent book, Marshes: The Disappearing Edens.
