[CT Birds] Eastern Wood-Pewee Reports

The 2 recent Eastern Wood-Pewee reports are remarkably early for this
species. If correct, one represents a tie for the earliest on record and the
other sets a new early arrival record for CT. Additionally the reports
precede the first Least Flycatcher report for the year. This is astonishing.
The peak of Pewee arrival is usually mid-May. It would be helpful for the
historical record if such significant reports included a little info on how
the observer ruled out other flycatchers such as Phoebe, Least Flycatcher,
etc. I really don't want to sound stuffy or in any way pedantic but we are
talking earliest Spring arrival on record for CT. That's big stuff. Thanks.
