[CT Birds] Migrants banded at Birdcraft

This weeks migrants banded at Birdcraft (314 Unquowa Road, Fairfield) 
included palm and black & white warblers, northern waterthrush and ruby 
crowned kinglets.  We had a little excitement this morning when we briefly 
caught a red-tailed hawk who was after one of the robins caught in the net. 
The poor robin was dead anyway so I removed it and gave it to the hawk.  The 
hawk was so intent on its meal that I could approach within two feet of it 
while I removed the robin.  It moved off about 10 feet and I left the robin 
by the spot where the hawk had been.  On the next net check there was 
nothing left but a pile of robin feathers.
