Fairly silent morning today (April 25) in the Hidden Valley section Steep Rock Preserve here in Washington, CT. Three Louisiana waterthrush on territory on the Shepaug River. Singles of the following: yellow-throated vireo, blue-headed vireo (by the foot bridge), yellow-rumped warbler, American redstart, common merganser (male), and belted kingfisher (heard).
