[CT Birds] Simsbury - April 25

Roger Preston and I birded the town this morning and had a couple of good
birds . The BROWN THRASHER, first reported to me last week by Brian Toal
was still performing near the Simsbury Farms golf course across from the
old Apple Barn. A nice bird for the town as they have been absent over at
least a couple of years. Then we went to the town garage area  off Town
Forest Road and the BANK SWALLOWS  are back. Interesting since we haven't
had a Barn Swallow yet. Is it me or are the number of swallows lower? We
haven't even had that many tree Swallows.
