 CT Birders,

 

There are 9 active Great-blue Heron nest in the rookery off of Babbs Rd & Rt
168. This valuable area for birds and other wildlife is at the southern end
of the tobacco fields, unfortionatly someone has posted a sign warning of
pesticides that are being used in the area; its not unfortionate that the
sign was posted but that pesticides are being used in this highly sensative
area of vibrant wildlife!

 

If someone in CT can help stop the destruction of this area please contact
the appropriate officials.
