5/1, Voluntown, Pachaug State Forest, YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER

I was in the Pachaug area on this past saturday and ran into Bob Dewire who was there with a birding group and had seen it earlier in the day .. I went to the location then, about 2:30 pm, and the bird was singing until I left about 45 minutes later. I have a little trouble locating sounds and did not see the bird then. ( Bob had reported it that day.)
I went back up today, 6 days later, and the warbler was at the same location singing,,and I did get a good look at it this time.
The directions are,,Go into the main entrance of Pachaug on Rt 49, take the second right just before the bridge that goes over Mt Misery Brook, go through the campground, the road enters the forest and turns to dirt. At a little less then 1/2 mile down the dirt road there is a gated forest road on the right. Right after the gate there is a small pool/fire hole on the left and a swampy area on the right. This is the area.
