[CT Birds] Scarlet Tanager, Washington, CT

I just received an email from  family friends, Elmer and Pat Calhoun, who live on Rabbit Hill Rd in Washington, CT. They had a male scarlet tanager in a maple tree by their home this AM (May 3). With the high temperature being only 50 here today somewhat amazing to have a scarlet tanager on the north side of Washington, CT today.
