[CT Birds] Western Tanager

I visited Marilyn (Sam) and Michael Higgins home at 38 Hammond Hill Rd. in Hampton late this afternoon after she called reporting a Western Tanager.
Unfortunately I didn't get to see it but Sam had some nice photos that
I'm hoping she'll send along of the bird. It looks like a male that
hasn't made it into breeding plumage yet. Sam indicated that it would
be OK to visit and look for the bird. The bird was associating with
cardinals and coming in to food on the ground. Hopefully it will be
there tomorrow.

FOY Ruby-throated Hummingbird at our home today and the Red-headed Woodpecker is still here too.
