[CT Birds] dusk visitors

Unfortunately, we didn't get out birding today, but just before dusk
a dozen or so barn swallows were zipping around overhead in the back
yard, accompanied by 6-8 (maybe more?) twittering, cigar-shaped
swifts. Must have been some good bugs up there. To top it all off,
a few minutes later I got my first official long look at my hummer at
the deck feeder - getting too dark to see if I had a male of female.

I'm jealous of all who've got orioles and rb grosbeaks - none in our
yard yet...
