In the Storrs area today:

Eagleville Preserve: veery (2), blue-gray gnatcatcher (1), yellow warbler (5), yellow-rump (12), black-throated blue (2), black-and-white (3), yellow palm warbler (3) ... plus all the usual suspects (including a kingfisher!)

Horsebarn Hill: killdeer (pr with 1st young I've seen this year - no more than 2-3 days old), American kestrel (1), brown thrasher (2), Savannah sparrow (5), eastern meadowlark (2).

Varga Rd, Ashford: red-headed woodpecker continues in Steve Morytko's yard.
