Finally some decent warbler activity in the Hartford area. Quick walk
through Wethersfield sections of Cedar Hill Cemetery this morning produced a
really nice male Blackburnian Warbler, also Black-throated Blue,
Black-throated Green, a Wood Thrush, a Broad-winged Hawk soaring overhead,
and several Ruby-crowned Kinglets, including one male with his red crest
flaring. A Great Egret has been hanging around the Spring Street pond in
Old Wethersfield for several days.
