         SANDHILL CRANE       Cornwall
           One sandhill crane (with brownish crown patch) in small 
marsh/swamp in North Cornwall at intersection of Rattlesnake and 
Coggswell Roads.  Lingered with five great blue herons for awhile 
this morning, then flew off to northwest and could not be relocated 
at nearby farmland.   Also osprey, wood ducks, hooded mergansers, 
Canada geese with goslings, warbling vireos, brown thrasher and least 
flycatcher.  This small wetland had one American bittern present on 4/27.
