We had left out some scraps of rug to dry, that had gotten wet.
today a tufted titmouse and a house wren were pulling off pieces of the rug
scrap, I assume for nesting material. I have been discarding cat hair,
(brushed from our indoor cat), and dryer lint, which I read where materials birds
like to collect for nest building. But the rug scraps were just there to dry
out. These birds will have nicely furnished nests.
