[CT Birds] Yellow Throated Warbler & misc

Dave, I guess I just missed you. I had the Yellow Throated Warbler, singing constantly on both sides of the road, from about 8:10 to 8:50. Here is a link to some so-so photos of it.

I guess it's a long ride for most people who subscribe to this list, but Pachaug St Forest is a very nice place to visit---and a great place to see such a beautiful life bird.

The Yellow-throated Warbler was present at the same location in Pachaug SF
as previously described and actively singing during my short trip there
from 9AM to about 9:15AM. This spot is also an excellent spot for breeding
Red-breasted Nuthatches and Hermit Thrushes, which were heard today.
Blue-headed Vireos also traditionally nest in this forest just up the road
from the Yellow-throated spot.
On another note, anyone see a Common Tern or either Cuckoo in CT yet? The
first individuals should be here already.
