Hi Folks
I am still gathering responses to my birder survey. I would like more  
responses. This service has 450 member, I have 87 responses 19.3%. We  
can do better than that. I have sent out 34 personal reminders and if  
they all responded that would bring us up to 27%,

It doesn’t matter how many or few towns you visit, the important  
information is in the collective results. Everyone is important.

It may encourage people to respond by providing some preliminary  
results. I hesitate to give too much information since it might bias  
future respondents.

17 towns with no observations
72 towns with a rating of 1 to 6
54 towns with a rating of 7 to 18
18 towns with a rating of 19 to 30

The Top 10 Towns were:

Madison 89
Milford 68
Stratford 58
New Haven 56
West Haven	40
Litchfield 37
Westport 36
Old Saybrook 30
South Windsor 29
Old Lyme 29

If we assume all of Madison is due to Hammonasset St. Park and the 87  
respondents are representative of the 450 people on this list then we  
have these estimates
