I meant to write Black Rat Snake in my previous post, not Black Racer.
That's what happens when you write in haste while thinking of the next
sentence. Anyway, it's always a great experience to find snakes but I
should mention that capturing snakes should only be done if you are
familiar with how to identify them, handle them,  and most importantly keep
both you and the snake safe from injury.
