[CT Birds] MA Pelagic results, CT Roseate Terns

CTBirders,

On Saturday the 19th, the Brookline Bird Club put on another very
successful pelagic trip from Cape Cod to the warm waters of Atlantis
Canyon. A handful of CT birders were aboard. Though numbers of the
common species were low, the quality was excellent. Highlights
included 4 BAND-RUMPED STORM-PETRELS, 1 BRIDLED TERN, 2 LONG-TAILED
JAEGERS, and a few probable 'Scopoli's' Cory's Shearwaters. Nearly
every trip out there seems to turn up something interesting.

On Friday the 18th I stopped at Griswold Point in Old Lyme. Highlights
were 6 Roseate Terns, two of which were birds of the year.
