7/22 Old Lyme, Watch Rock Preserve along CT River - 1
YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON, 1 adult female NORTHERN
HARRIER, 1 COOPER'S HAWK, 60+ OSPREYS, 1 white-eyed
vireo, decent number and variety of expected
shorebirds. No sign of Tricolored Heron.
Madison, Hammonasett S.P. - 2 LITTLE BLUE HERONS.
West Haven, Sandy Point - 10 species of shorebirds,
including a few each of first-of-season Sanderlings
and Ruddy Turnstones.
Milford, Milford Point - large numbers of shorebirds
and common terns, but nothing unusual.  3000
Semipalmated Sandpipers, 300 Common Terns.
