[CT Birds] Rocky Hill Meadows

A quick 30 minute stop at Rocky Hill Meadows early this morning revealed the following birds:

Canada Goose     7
American Black Duck     2
Great Egret     1
Northern Harrier     1
Semipalmated Plover     2
Killdeer     65+
Greater Yellowlegs     4
Lesser Yellowlegs     10
Semipalmated Sandpiper     1
Least Sandpiper     5
White-rumped Sandpiper     1
Pectoral Sandpiper     9
Stilt Sandpiper     1
Ring-billed Gull     11
Mourning Dove     13
Red-bellied Woodpecker     1
Eastern Phoebe     1
Blue Jay     X
American Crow     X
Black-capped Chickadee     X
Tufted Titmouse     X
Carolina Wren     1
American Robin     X
American Pipit     30+
Palm Warbler     2
Savannah Sparrow     3
Indigo Bunting     4
Bobolink     20 (fly-over)
Red-winged Blackbird     900+
Brown-headed Cowbird     12
American Goldfinch     2

Great shorebirds, but the enormous flock of RW Blackbirds taking off from the tree tops was far more impressive!
