[CT Birds] winter's comming!

This morning I went to John Minetto State park in Torrington and saw the following:
(note: last night was 36f in Harwinton)
2 LINCOLN'S SPARROW
1 late EMPIDONAX FLYCATCHER - LEAST?
20+ WHITE-THROATED SPARROW
12+DARK-EYED JUNCO
6+ GOLDEN-CROWNED KINGLET
many YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER
10 PALM WARBLER
1 BLACKPOLL WARBLER
3 REDSTART
2 RED BREASTED NUTHATCH
4 PURPLE FINCH - see them often around in NW CT.
4 WOOD DUCK
1 GREEN HERON - late?
also many other common birds.

At yard in Harwinton:
4 DARK-EYED JUNCO
1 WHITE-THROATED SPARROW
1 PINE SISKIN - in with GOLDFINCH on thistle!
Nows the time to put up your thistle feeders!
