Roy Harvey noted heavy nocturnal migration last night on the radar. Those birds ran smack into foul weaher this morning, resulting in big fallouts of passerines. I went out to check some local lakes this morning and encountered large numbers of typical October migrants grounded - sparrows, Yellow-rumped and Palm Warblers, Phoebes etc.

The potential for some good stuff is high. Don't let the rain ground you.
