From Buzz Devine with Seth Harvey:
10/06 – Bishop’s Pond, Meriden -- 1100–1130 hrs, 1 EURASIAN WIDGEON (drake), 2 BLUE-WINGED TEAL (hens), 1 GREAT CORMORANT (unusual inland).

Rocky Hill Meadows (last field on the left heading south, beyond the outhouse) -- 1200-1345 hrs, 2 BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPERS, 1 PECTORAL SANDPIPER, and an interesting plover, possible RINGED PLOVER (lighter overall than typical semipalm, yellowish legs, large breast band, large, black-eyed appearance) or aberrant SEMIPALMATED PLOVER.

Note: the birds were in and out of the furrows and not always visible; farm equipment working the area.
