Today at 4:45 Bristol reservoir #7 had:

250 plus RUDDY DUCK - up from 75 2 days ago-
2 PIED-BILLED GREBE
2 BLACK DUCK

At 5:30 visited the Harwinton fair grounds and stopped by a sunny area of trees and bushes lit by the setting sun on the edge of the field, and observed many birds flying in from the field direction I presume for the night. In 20 mins I counted:

3 SONG SPARROW
3 WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW
15 WHITE THROATED SPARROW
3 FIELD SPARROW
20+ CHIPPING SPARROW
2 SWAMP SPARROW
1 LINCOLN'S SPARROW
and a very possible Tree Sparrow, but so early a date. Saw the two-toned bill, larger than a Chipper, but only a quick look.
10 JUNCO
6 PALM WARBLER
15 YELLOW-RUMP WARBLER
2 BLACKPOLL WARBLER
1 BAY BREASTED WARBLER
2 BLUE HEADED VIREO
8 BLUEBIRD
4 GOLDEN-C-KINGLET
6 RUBY-C-KINGLET and other common stuff.
