Jan. 12 Mystic, Masons I. - drake BARROW'S GOLDENEYE seen from bridge from mainland to Masons Island. Presumably the bird seen recently at Groton Long Point but now in a much more accessible location if it stays. This morning it was close to the bridge and giving excellent views.

Avery Point - c. 15 Snow Buntings, c. 12 Black-bellied Plovers, N. Harrier, Great Cormorant
Haley Farm - Red-shouldered Hawk, Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, Hermit Thrush, 
 
Lyme, RT 156 firehouse - E. Phoebe at spot behind firehouse previously reported by Hank Golet
Elys Ferry Road - Fox Sparrow, 2 Swamp Sparrows, Great Cormorant
 
E. Lyme , I-95 - 2 C Ravens
 
Madison, Hammonasset - 1st-winter Iceland Gull
 
Durham, Rt. 68 west of town center - Rough-legged Hawk
