[CT Birds] Mockingbird

When I lived in NJ my wife became especially fond of a mockingbird that
wintered. She used to sit out a half an apple on the front porch, away from
the feeders in the back. She cut the apple across the "equator" so it sat
upright with the top half missing. The mockingbird would meticulously pick
out the pulp so that eventually all that would be left was an intact cup
made of apple skin.
