[CT Birds] Blackbirds in Washington, CT - Spring signs

Had a  mixed flock of between 40 and 50 red-winged blackbirds and common grackles around the bird feeder here in Washington, CT this morning (28 Feb). A real sign of spring to me is to see blackbirds. Most of the snow that had been on the ground here is gone. No doubt we will have more snow cover at some point in the next month.
