At Station 43, South Windsor, this morning ((Tues):

4 Black Ducks
7 Mallards
2 negatively charged Am Wigeon (1 male, 1 female; they were repulsive; whenever the male approached the female, she moved away with haste)
11 Wood Duck
1 N Shoveler (male)
27 Green-winged Teal
34 Ring-necked Ducks

For those who have not been down to Vibert Rd recently but are planning a trip there:
The road is in the worst condition I have ever seen it. I averaged 5 mph. Unless you have a truck with good suspension, I recommend parking on Main St and walking in (don't park at the sewage treatment plant). I am hoping that the town (or perhaps it would be the state, because of the boat launch) will regravel the road soon. Then you can speed down it at 15 mph and you'll just have to worry about gravel in your wheelwells).
