I too, have witnessed an intense Grackle fight. Last week in my neighbor's front yard, two Common Grackles had themselves clutched together, face to face, rolling around and back and forth. They were so intent on the battle that I was able to walk right up on them. They didn't stop the fight until I "pished" at them. Stacy Hanks Milford
