The grass at Cabels'a was cut pretty short all around the "pond", except for the small elevated portion. Beyond the fenced in area, at the actual "Airport access " area, the grass was mowed flat this aftrernoon. However, it did not seem to affect the UPLANDS too much, as there were still 5 in the area, including at least one Upland that came to the pool area twice in the hour and a half that I was there. Good looks were being had in the bins and scopes.

How much of the grass was cut?

Just got a call.

 From Bill Banks:
05/29/09 - East Hartford, Cabella's -- the grass was cut yesterday, but there
were at least two UPLAND SANDPIPERS still present shortly after noon. Also a
few Dunlin and other shore birds.
