[CT Birds] Milford Point

Milford Point, 4-5:30 pm, Thursday June 4:

ORCHARD ORIOLE - one male singing in the flowering trees to the west of the
Audubon center;
PIPING PLOVER - 3 adults, 4 chicks;
LEAST TERN - only 5 adults, NO evidence of breeding activity;
BONAPARTE'S GULL - 2 still in winter plumage, on the rocks at low tide;
plus Turnstones, Black-Bellied Plovers, Sanderlings in breeding plumage, two
pair American Oystercatcher.
