There were a few unusual species at Horsebarn Hill in Storrs today including 3 Glossy Ibis and ~20 Least Sandpipers. Both species were in the wet area close to white fence along the road opposite the outdoor polo rink. Other species seen included Bobolink (nesting), Am. Kestrel (2), and Purple Martin (2). The Purple Martin are now bringing food to a box next to the gazebo behind the Young Building (just south of the Dairy Bar).
