Hi All,

Yellow Warbler migration (of the aestiva subspecies) is right on time if you refer to a few references. If you peruse the Peterson's Warbler Guide (which I highly recommend for birders) you'll see that in the Great Lakes regions migrants are found on the move as early as mid/late June and that the second week of July is prime time for the movement of Yellow Warblers across the east. It's one of the earliest fall migrants and the book also notes that Yellow Warbler is one of the more diurnally inclined migrants. There's loads of other great info in this book on migration dates for species, vagrancy etc etc.
