[CT Birds] Migrants and others

9/5, Stratford yard, woods and powerline cut (745a-1200p)-  While walking though the woods I walked in and out of a few waves of passerines at all levels of the trees.  1 Nashville (female), 2 Black and white, 5 Redstarts, 2 Ovenbirds, 1 Blackburnian (male), 2 Warbling and 1 Yellow-throated vireo, a male RB Grosbeak, 2 male Baltimore orioles, a dozen or so Waxwings, 1 Wood thrush, 3 House and 1 Carolina wren, and 1 unidentified Empid flycatcher in addition to the regulars.  Also swifts, Barn swallows, hummers, a juv. Cooper's and adult Red-tail hawk, 1 Brown creeper and a fly-over Pileated.  -Brian Webster- Stratford
