 From Mardi & Townsend Dickinson:
9/6/09- Stratford, Sikorsky Airport -- NORTHERN WHEATEAR has been seen
& Photographed
from 11:55AM - 1:49PM. and again from 4:43-6:40PM. American Kestral
across the landing stripe.

Stratford, Access Rd pool across from R.E. Michal -- 2 Western
Sandpiper, 1 White-rumped
Sandpiper, 3 Pectoral Sandpiper.

I-95 toward New Haven. Take Exit 30
for Lordship Blvd/CT 113. Turn right at Lordship Blvd.
Turn Right onto Great Meadows Road. Sikorsky Airport is down and on
your left.
Take left at the airport and go all the way through the airport to
where a sign says road closed.
They are doing construction. So where it says road closed, slowly bear
left into parking lot, then
bear right and go slowly straight ahead between two piles of dirt/
gravel, turn left and along the
the barbed wired fence on your right is where the bird has been
perched and on several lights
& boxes on the runway.
