Hi Folks

The tides at the mouth of the river will be very high the next few  
day, combined with the east wind they will be even bigger.
Today the nesting bar broke at the base. a lot of gulls were feed on  
the detritus being washed up. The water off shore continues to be  
empty of birds

Green winged-Teal are in Stratford, Blue-winged Teal in Bridgeport,  
and American Wigeon in Milford. It is a good time to check reservoirs  
and ponds for early ducks
