The morning flight at Bluff Point had good numbers as expected but the breezy conditions made the birds leave before the "Hot Corner" and they passed over too high to identify many and to be honest good looks were only had on a handful of birds. This is the usual lament on breezy mornings there, a very light NW breeze is ideal but that's not what we had today. About 600 to 700 passerines left the Reserve with the highlight being a flyover Dickcissel. John and I left fairly early to head to work but other birders remained and may report additional sightings.
