[CT Birds] Thomaston Pipits & more

A group of 5 American Pipits was present on the (Army Corps of Engineers) Northfield Dam in Thomaston, this morning. Northfield Dam is on Rt 254 and accessible to the public (you can walk right across). Other birds of interest seen in the surrounding woods:  American Kestrel, Black Vulture, Common Raven, Golden-crowned & Ruby-crowned Kinglets, Scarlet Tanager, Northern Parula, Nashville Warbler, Blackpoll Warbler, Blackburnian Warbler & Blue-headed Vireo
