[CT Birds] Dickcissel and other Stratford birds

10/4, Behind Deluca Ball Field, Stratford (4:00-5:00p)-
(50) Savannah Sparrows
(3) White-throated Sparrows
(3) Lincoln's Sparrows
(8) Song Sparrows
(1) immature Dickcissel
Also Great and Snowy egrets, 2 Black-bellied Plovers, 4 Semipal Plovers, a Peregrine fly-by, and a very active Kingfisher.
10/4, Sikorsky Airport, Stratford (5:05-5:15p)-
(12) Savannah Sparrows
(1) Peregrine Falcon (quite possibly the same individual)
I didn't see and Golden Plovers, although I'm not sure I was looking in the right area.
10/4, Great Meadow Marsh pond area, Stratford (5:20-5:40p)-
(4) American Wigeon
(1) male Green-winged Teal
(1) Great Blue Heron
(2) White-throated Sparrows
(3) Savannah Sparrows
(4) Palm Warblers (all eastern)
Also two young fawns feeding on the fenced in lawn with 5 turkeys.
10/4, Stratford Marina, Stratford (5:45-6:05p)-
(3) Black-crowned Night-herons (2 adult, one juv.)
(1) Yellow-crowned Night-heron (juv.)
(1) Great Blue Heron (juv.)
(13) Greater Yellowlegs
(1) Lesser Yellowlegs
(1) Kingfisher
