[CT Birds] phalarope Sta 43

We are leaning towards Red Phalarope but are waiting for photos from Bob Simon, a kayaker who had a camera and went over to the bird to take some close shots. I will let the list know if it turns out to be a different ID.

Thanks to Greg, Brian Toal, Paul Cianfaglione, and Luke Tiller for their help.

Inquiring minds want to know ... did anybody figure out what this was? A mildly interesting sighting!

Sara Zagorski and Denise Jurnigan are at the end of Vibert Road, Station 43, S Windsor, c 4:45 p.m. looking at a phalarope in the CT River. Tough ID between Red and Red-necked. If anyone can get out there for a look they'd appreciate the help.
