A stroll below the Mansfield Hollow SP dam around noon today didn't turn up any gulls at all. The sandbar that often attracts gulls and appears in low water in that area was showing a few soiled rocks but no sand. The overnight rain probably raised water levels. Two fly-over Wood Ducks were seen and a female American Kestrel was playing tag with a Sharp-shinned Hawk in the open field. Nearby 3 vocal Fish Crows flew overhead.
