During the 2009 Legislative Session, Senator Toni Boucher (R-26) worked with
legislators and area municipal elected officials to remove language from a state statute
that restricted DOT land for the exclusive use of a massive Super 7 interstate
highway through the wetlands of the towns of Wilton, Redding and Ridgefield.
Express your opposition to an effort by the South Western Regional
Planning Agency Municipal Planning Organization to pass a resolution against
this approved legislation. This move by SWRPA is aimed at bringing the
long-dead and long-opposed Super 7 Highway issue back to life!
Make your voice heard and your views known at this SWRPA Meeting!
You will have the opportunity to speak during this public meeting from 8 to
8:30 A.M. only. Your opinion counts! Your presence at this meeting is vital!
